German Chocolate Cake

INGREDIENTS - gluten-free flour - cocoa powder - salt - baking soda & powder - eggs - granulated sugar - brown sugar - oil - non-dairy milk - apple cider vinegar - coffee - vanilla - butter - evaporated milk - coconut - pecans

STEP 1 Whisk together the dry ingredients.

STEP 2 Combine the eggs, sugars, oil, non-dairy milk, vinegar, and vanilla extract.

STEP 3 Add the dry ingredients and brewed coffee.

STEP 4 Pour the batter into cake pans and bake.

STEP 5 Make the frosting by heating together egg yolks, evaporated milk, butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt.

STEP 6 Add the coconut and pecans, then allow to cool.

STEP 7 Assemble the cake with the cooled cakes and frosting layers.
