Pineapple Upside Down Cake

INGREDIENTS - butter - brown sugar - pineapple - salt - GF flour - cornstarch - baking soda & powder - cinnamon - cardamom - sugar - eggs - vanilla - sour cream - milk

STEP 1 Slice and core the pineapple, reserving some juice.

STEP 2 Thicken the brown sugar, butter, salt, and pineapple juice in a skillet, then add the fresh pineapple.

STEP 3 Whisk together the dry ingredients, then cut the butter in.

STEP 4 Whisk together the wet ingredients, then combine with the dry.

STEP 5 Pour in the milk, then rest the batter.

STEP 6 Arrange the pineapple slices in the bottom of a baking dish, then top with syrup.

STEP 7 Top with batter and bake!

STEP 8 Invert onto a large plate, and serve!
