I'm back! Well, kind of...
It's been 10 months since I last posted here. During that time I left my job, became a stay-at-home mom, and gave birth to my son who's now 6½ months old.
Obviously, I'm biased, but Hugo is absolutely beautiful and I can't get enough of him. He's got six teeth, he crawls, and is recently pulling himself up to a standing position.
Being a new mom, who's unemployed might I add, I don't always have the time or money to dedicate to cooking/baking, taking photos of both the process and final product, and writing up the blog post.
So... I'm feeling stuck. I don't want to just dump this site but I can't be fully back into the swing of things.
The only thing I'm making these days is oatmeal for breakfast and a throw-whatever-you've-got-into-a-big-pan kind of dinner which turns into lunch the next day. And while both are delicious, neither are very aesthetically pleasing. Plus, dinner photos never turn out well with the lack of natural light.
I'm in the process of getting rid of commercially bought cleaning and body care products and replacing them with DIY products that are non-toxic and more gentle. Would you like to see these? Technically they're something "Ai made" but it wouldn't be food...
Or should I ignore the blog title and start posting parenting-related posts? Baby must-haves, new mom experiences? I'd love some feedback. Definitely in need of guidance.
